Stan & Marie

We wanted to create a place for others to come and escape their “everyday” to go off the grid, to relax, reflect, and play.



After getting married, we decided to press pause on our 9 to 5 jobs and backpack around the world for a year. It was not a typical way to spend our first year as newlyweds: sleeping in tents and hostels, eating street foods, and walking and hiking daily. Our year abroad gave us many gifts, but most profoundly a perspective shift: we didn’t want to “work for the weekends,” or think of days as, days working versus not working. We have intentionally blended the ‘outdoors’ into our family lifestyle and business ethos. We hope we can share this place and community with you as we grow. 

We realize how fortunate we are to look after this beautiful piece of earth…we want to preserve it and leave this place in better condition than when we found it. We look forward to sharing our small piece of paradise with you,
